Immersed and Consumed

Consumed with thoughts of you
Longing for your touch
Found so far from where I am
Sighs escape my lips
Tears cascading unchecked

Immersed in fantasies of you
Scarcely can I move
Through my days mundane
Roving my eyes always watching
For when you may call to me

Captivated by dreams with you
Doubts and inadequacy
Flood my roaming aching mind
Yet still I hold on to hope of
Gaining wings with which to fly

That my heart and yours
May be One

  1. Sounds very sad and despondent!

Thank you for you comment on my egret painting. When I went to comment it dumped it and I could not find it to restore itl
