Come Find Me

Come to me, my Lover
Fly across the ocean
Across the miles
My heart was knit with yours
As yours was made for mine
Don’t deprive Us
Of what we have
Please don’t allow distance
To keep us apart

Fly fast, my Lover
Before another swoops in
To steal what belongs to you
With every passing moment
All that is between us
Every look, every word, every touch
Is translated into salty tears
Cascading down my cheek

Run swiftly, my dear Lover
Let our love fuel your feet
And if you fail to find me
Follow my scent
Down winding trails
Across the plains
For I am searching for you
So may you come for me
And make me whole, complete
