spit, mixed with dirt – muddy words flow
dawn quietly carefully
tiptoed across the sheets
revealing my alabaster skin
unclothed
naked greedy flesh
hungry for you
shivering anticipating
quaking and aching for your touch
taste my sweet lips
parting
electric kisses and swollen tongues
exposed soft breasts
heaving and bruised
greeted the rising moon
much like my heart
and yours

This was sexy and tender as well. 😍

Nice observation, Rob! I was thinking sexy and maybe a bit tender-hearted as I wrote it.

Hi Tara, I doubt very much, it was a real flop, not many sales, it’s available for free now and not very many downloads either. If ever my other books become popular and it starts getting downloaded I would consider, I have several different ideas on the go at the moment, 3 books started at 1000 to 2000 words, hard to commit the time though

I get that. Completely. Well… I enjoyed it. Publishing is a real labor of love, for sure.

No. It’s close though. I’ve had a few things come up this last, month and a half which prevented me from putting the final touches to hit the publish button, but soon(ish)….

Awesome imagery, as always! I really like the personification of dawn in the first couple of lines. Or could it be that Dawn is perhaps an actual person? Very nicely done!

hehe! I left that up to interpretation! But originally I had written this in three parts (of a day: dawn, midday and evening, but felt it didn’t add to what I wanted to convey and out came the black marker to cross out 60% of the poem lol) Thanks so much for reading.

Nice! The end product you have here is great. It seems like I always edit out about half the words of everything I write.

Both sensitive, beautiful and erotic in equal measure. Love it.
