4:18am (Insomnia)

we held each other close dancing slowly
my arms wrapped around your neck
yours at my waist
I stared into your eyes
I felt as if I was falling or being pulled
it felt weightless effortless
how it felt just right to be in this moment with you
and then time paused
I saw something in your eye I hadn’t noticed before
my feet stopped their shuffle
my breath stopped in my lungs
my heart stopped and stared
I saw love there
real and deep and abiding love
how
when had this happened
I never wanted to leave this perfect moment

The latest addition in my category named Insomnia. These are real dreams taken at real times. They might be dark or weird or fantastic or erotic. Welcome to my mind.
