Whatever It Takes

I’m gonna wait for you
My heart is flying
High in the sky

I’m gonna wait for you
My mind is racing
Fast full of life

I’m gonna wait for you
My hands are gifted
Oh weaving magic

I’m gonna wait for you
My feet have rhythm
Skip outta time

I’m gonna wait for you
My eyes are lifting
Stars for the sky

I’m gonna wait for you
My voice proclaiming
My love for you
My love for you
My voice proclaiming

Eyes lifted high
My heart is singing

I’m gonna wait for you
Whatever it takes

I’m gonna wait for you
For you all my heart
My soul for you

  1. I like the structure of how you laid out “My heart/mind/hands/feet/eyes”. I think the repetition of “I’m gonna wait…” helps reinforce the theme. Solid work! – B

    • Thanks Brian! In my mind, I can hear this to music. It’s the only thing I’ve written that I heard to music and wrote it as I heard it. Thank you for the compliment. I like this one too actually.
