Don’t Blink

She has beautiful eyes
The most entrancing eyes

Becoming lost
Oh I find myself staring

Diving
Swimming
Floundering

A whirlpool
Spinning me around

Waves cover my face
I forget to breathe
I willingly drown

She’s my oxygen now

  1. This is lovely Tara ❤

I couldn't help but be entranced as well, especially with that vivid description.

Though to be honest, I find myself afraid of having someone as my oxygen. My luck with love has been…interesting haha

    • I completely understand that fear or uncomfortableness. The problem with that mindset is that it denies The NOW. The possibilities. The hope. And yes I revert back to that as well… but we’ve got to keep moving forward rather than staying in those past “mistakes” or experiences.

It’s definitely a work-in-progress. Staying wise to reality but also hopeful for the future. To give love a CHANCE to work.

May we both find that middle ground and thrive there!!
