spit, mixed with dirt – muddy words flow
my flames of passion
burn bright for you my love
in the morning all I see is
cold flesh and slanted eyes
your tears are crystals of ice
but my tongue is fire
wrapping my arms around you
desire licking ice from off your skin
look into my eyes
feel the heat of my ravenous lust
melting away the icy clutches of
winters cold embrace

Thanks so much John. It was part of a collaboration I did over on Instagram. This was my part (altered slightly). The only thing he really said was an ice cube on skin and feeling lonely when your lover is gone. This was my response.

I hope you don’t mind me saying and as I’m not on instagram (yet), I see your words for what they are, I don’t see the connection. No offence to your collaborator. As always words connect and in thank you 🙏

Oh…Tara.
So luscious and evocative.
I believe I’ve made the point that you are single handedly contributing to global warming with your sensuous posts.
I’m just sayin’…
Now, I need to figure out a way to slow my pulse.

I like this. Makes me think of a desire that doesn’t last. Or one that is so strong it destroys that which it desires. The harder it tries to hold on, the faster it goes away.

Yes! Exactly. I was thinking the same thing as I wrote it.
