A Thousand Kisses

I would place a thousand kisses across your cheeks, down your throat

I would snuggle into your side, rest my head upon your shoulder

I would hold you, gazing deep within your eyes until the world faded away

I would bury myself deep inside your heart, wrap myself up forever

I would spend the rest of my days showing you just how much you mean to me

If only you’d let me

  1. Beautiful tender words of longing, with a bittersweet twist in that last line. Powerful piece! ❀

  2. Wow! Tara! You have so perfectly captured the yearning desire we all feel and want from a beloved and want to hold forever if we are blessed enough to find one!! You Know? 😍🀣😊 The only thing that could possibly make this better is to hear an audio of you recording this so we can all close our eyes and listen to your sweet voice sharing the longs of your hear and soul. PLEASE!!! Please don’t deny us the sound of these words spoken from your heart in your own voice!!!

  3. Funny how images can influence how we see certain words. “I would bury myself deep inside your heart” made me think of covering myself in snow (from the image) and being warm. The weirdest thing…
