Some Art

Hey friends, I’ve been spending a fair bit of time reading and creating art. The winter has been fairly uneventful and decent. I sort of wish for more snow than we’ve got BUT with my on-going health issues, I simply don’t have the energy to shovel snow, so I’m calling it a win both ways.

I hope you’ll enjoy these most recent pieces I’ve created.

Ink pen.
Pencil.
Pencil.
Pencil + mixed media.
This counts as art… right? RIGHT?!?!

Have fun today, tara

All images by me (and the cinnamon roll was delicious).

  1. I love the little circles (obviously, as you know my own pieces) but I adore the little viking bunny 🐰

  2. Sorry to hear about your health issues. Hope they all clear up soon.
All drawings were great, and a cinnamon roll counts, of course.
But the first (ink pen) piece – Did you do it on paper or is that a digital piece? If done with a regular pen and paper, then this is amazing. I like how you got the 3D factor off the charts. If not, it’s still very cool.

    • Just regular sketch paper and Pilot V5 pens. Black, navy blue, and red. The white is just the paper showing. I was going to use white pencil for the white shine to make it but it didn’t show up, so I stopped after a few. It took around 30 hours or so to do.

The only digital on these was the bunny, which I added the background for effect on that one.

      Thanks for the comments, Goldie!
