About tara caribou

I’m a simple woman who sometimes gets carried away by my internal thought processing while maintaining my every day. These thoughts pour out in stories and poems, flung across my page. Sometimes these reflections are dark, sometimes they are sensual, always they are a part of me. I write, I create, because it has always been inside me. Without the act of creation, I would wither and fade. My hope is that these stories and conceptions and visions and photos that I share will touch souls, spark thought and conversation, and maybe even change a few lives.

Who am I? I was born and raised and currently reside in rural Alaska with my partner and kids. I’ve lived in a few other states and even a couple cities but some years ago came back out to the great backwoods again for peace and solitude once more. I’m in my forties and nothing special to look at but I do have a lot in my head and my heart. I live daily with regret, remorse, grief, and love. I’m pretty sure that describes each and every one of us.

While this isn’t my first blog, it is my first anonymous one where I say whatever it is I want to say with no holds barred. This isn’t my online journal, and a lot of what I pen is fantasy and layered with emotion, rather than real life happenings. I enjoy comments and discussion, so type away, my friends.
