Beautiful shots, Tara. I love how the low sun gives the snow the look of glistening sand. Hope you managed to get warm again!

Oh yes. I’m always all bundled up but my hands suffer the brunt of my winter photography sessions. I liked the glistens as well. I’ll be sharing some ice crystal shots in an upcoming share. 😍❄️

All beauties….the amber light from the sunrise/sunset is exquisite.
A Good and Healthy New Year to you.

Yes! That light was gorgeous. All sunset photos from me… the sun rises before I get up, around 10am currently… much too early for me lol. No filters or manipulation of any of these. It’s just natural beauty!

The cover photo is absolutely divine – the setting sun makes the snow look like sand – a great metaphor for how the sun can warm things up.

So very worth it! Thank you for this beauty. The sunrise ones in particular, took my breath away.

All setting sun photos from me (I’m a night owl, so I don’t see sunrises very often, except in summer when it’s only down for a couple hours).. but yes, those were such striking shots. I was mesmerized until my batteries died 😭

I love these, and it never ceases to fascinate me how snow can transform a scene into something totally unrecognisable from it was before, hiding mistakes and looking more solid than what it is. I’d like to be able to hover over it without making a single dent in it so it stays perfect 🙂
